What is Pauline doing to help animals that are endangered?
The Maori Scientist Harris Pauline is working hard to help animals that are endangered, she is simplifying Maori traditional knowledge with western knowledge. She managed to gather information from the Maori people who live in Alaska and they say that their lakes are melting faster, their lakes usually melt around summer. When she got the information from Alaska she was wondering if something like that is affecting animals in New Zealand. She found out that Mosquitoes are hatching earlier and animals along with insects are growing faster.
How is the Maori knowledge helping her?
She is also checking out areas around New Zealand and to see if anything weird is happening. Many Maori communities have a great understanding of the plants, animals and insects cycle also Harris Pauline is a part of 3 Maori tribes so she probably understands how the plant, animal, and insects cycle go’s so she knows when climate change is affecting the plants, animals and insects. She is also creating a map that combines the Maori knowledge with our knowledge now and seeing what’s the differences between what happened back then and now.

Last week at Tech we were learning about Electricty. We started by listening things in our house that needed electricty after that we got to solve how to turn this lamp on with a battery and wires. You need a lamp station and a battery and two electric wires. You connect the two electric wires with the battery, then on the lamp station there's two holes and you have to plug the wires through the hole then the lamp station will turn on. The task was intreasting and I enjoyed it very much I hope their is another task.

Jameis Winston was a Heisman winner, National Champion, Top draft pick and stat giant. Now he's on the bench.
Jameis Winston was the youngest player to ever win the Heisman. The star player doesn't plan to stay at New Oreland Saints any longer. Jameis has a look at his plan to return to NFL stardom. The past few months should have been impossible to have been able to process for a proud man like Jameis Winston. He has a right arm that can throw 5,109 yards. His name is now in legenary record books with Manning, Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger, Mahomes and Marino along with other legends. The last time we saw Winston, he sure seemed angry. Toronto Raptors Will Go After Giannis Antetokounmpo in Free Agency Reports
Giannis Antekokounmpo has been wanted by so many teams. The Toronto Raptors have been wanting Giannis Antekokounmpo ever since they lost their star player Kwahi. Giannis Antekokounmpo is also nicknamed "The Greek Freak" and also he has great talent but I'm saying once Giannis brother gets drafted he gonna surpass Giannis because Giannis brother is basically like him but he has a good Jumpshot, so imagine the brother as a great dunker and he has a good jumpshot.

Pelican's might just be able to win their first ever Championship for the Franchise
Zion Willamson, Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram and Derrick Favors this is the new Pelicans lineup and I think it's pretty good because Lonzo Ball is a pretty good Shooting Guard as long as he's with teammates that suits his playmaking he would play amazingly. Jrue Holiday he's real good I've seen his highlights and he was amazing his vision is pretty good he can create space for himself and his teammates. This new lineup can probably win the franchise a championship.
Pelicans road to NBA playoffs just got a little tougher thanks to new tiebreaker rules
This Season the Pelicans OWNED the Portland Trailblazers. Portland Trailblazers point guard wasn't in both of the games but even if he played it wouldn't make any differences because before the All Star break the Pelicans beat the Trailblazers 138-117 even with their star player Damian Lillard playing. The Pelicans dominated the Trailblazers head to head so they got an inside track of a spot in the play-offs. The NBA has decided to play out the remainder of the season, the Trail Blazers are favored in Las Vegas to get the eighth seed. Why? The NBA has determined that winning percentage. not head to head tiebreakers will determine who will be the higher seed if teams are tied in the number of games back.

The varsity football championship was set for November 28 in a city yet to be released into the public yet. I looked forward to seeing who would win the 6 National Championships but LSU still holds the championship.

Paulo Dybala 'It is not only people of color that should be fighting racism. We all have to'
Paulo Dybala wanted to take action and support his teammates who are being racially treated. Last year in April Paulo Dybala's teammate Moise Kean was racially mocked. Other football stars has also been mocked due to the colour of their skin like Raheem Sterling, Leonardo Bonucci and Romelu Lukaku. I'm actually proud that people are protesting for racial equality because when people get mocked because of their skin tone it racially effects them for the rest of their life.

The NBA is coming back, but Vince Carter's career is officially over
Vince Carter also known as "Vinsanity" he earned that nickname in the 2000 All Star dunk with a 360 degree windmill dunk and it was ranked as the top dunk out of any other dunk in the history of the dunk contest. Vince Carter's 22 year career has now come to an end as they had a farewell game for him. Vince Carter had such an amazing career. It was depressing hearing the News that he's retiring. He was such a fan favorite and he was always respected due to his talent and his passion for the sport.

Michael Jordan to donate $100 million to organisations dedicated to race equality
Michael Jordan the six time championship winner donates 100 million dollars to organisations that are supporting the racial equality in honor of what happened to George Floyd. What Micheal did is good because it's supporting racial equality and too many innocent lives are in danger even for little kids. What happened to George Floyd was such a tragedy and no human should ever go through that.
Warriors first pick on 2020 NBA DRAFT
The Warriors get the first pick on the 2020 NBA draft. They are picking LaMelo Ball. I think It's a good pick because LaMelo Ball has been playing good I've watched one of his highlights on youtube and also he has brothers and they actually play well together I'm telling if the ball brothers team up again the will dominate the NBA.

PIck A Path
This week we got the chance to create a pick a path quiz DLO. In mine I did a quiz about the NBA. My quiz is basically telling you how much you know about the NBA. I'm a massive fan of the NBA because I get to watch players evolve like Zion Williamson I've been watching him since he Joined the Duke basketball team and he was amazing. When I was watching the 2019 draft I was so excited to see the draft because I heard the Pelicans was going to be the 1st draft pick and I knew they needed a Power Forward so they picked Zion.
