I remember that day Dad was amazing thanks for reminding me about that. It’s ok Hinata the High school championship final is tomorrow and it's your big day there's gonna be scouts just be yourself Hinata. 1 day later. It was Easteneren Flakers vs Arsenal. We were late in the 4th quarter with 1 minute and ten seconds left. The score was Easteneren Flakers 97 to Arsenal 100 as the minutes went down scouts were curious to see which team would win as the time hit 7 seconds. Hinata was in the Eastern Flakers so it was their throw in as his teammate Alex Sanchez passed the ball to Hinata, Hinata shot on the three pointer line but was fouled last second due to the defenders bumping him off but he still managed to hit the three pointer and everyone in the crowd was yelling “SWOOSH” but as he was fouled The Easteneren Flakers got another chance to break the tie so it was 100 all. Nicko from the Easteneren Flakers threw the ball in Hinata caught it and shot but as he shot he missed the target but then Nicko dashed pass the free throw line and dunked the ball as soon as he rebond it everybody was like “YAY” as the buzzer ran out . But there was one Problem the scouts didn’t have and interest in Hinata but on his teammate Nicko. Hinata went home sad but as his dad got home his dad said that the scouts didn’t sign you because you were already signed buy LAI. Los Angles Inkers my old team said dad. Hinata was so happy he got a chance to join a team.

Los Angles Inkers Story
While Levi was watching on the bench watching his team suffer *LAI* His team is trying to get one more goal to have a tiebreaker. The score was 112 to 114. LAI was losing by 2 points. Coach subbed Levi in with 1 minute left. Levi throws the ball to the Kolt Unit. Levi dashes past the defender to the three pointer line, Kolt, Passes the ball Levi catches it and shoots and he hits a two pointer not a three pointer due to a push by the defender . As the seconds go down each team is trying to get a goal. Coach and everyone was waiting for the clock to go down. 10 seconds on the clock and Nick Gitson steals the ball for LaI. He passes it to Levi, Levi shoots a half court shot with 1 second on the clock as the buzzer goes off . Levi gets it in. The whole crowd went wild when it went in. Players on the bench ran to the middle of the court and lifted up Levi and cheered him on. As that was Los Angeles Inkers up against Lifted Blazers.

Water Fun Day
Today we had our annual Water fun Day at school. We had four groups and they were called Nikau,Kauri,Kowhai and Rata. Before we started the water fun day each group had a conference to talk about what to bring and everything. We each had a group with 2 year 8’s as chieftains. I was the chieftain of Kauri. Then everyone in the school was active in their group colours . I wore green. When the bell rang everybody rushed back to their classrooms and waited until the teachers called us.
The year 7 and 8 students started their session off with swimming we all had a little bit of fun like throwing a stick underwater and diving down to pick it up. We did those tasks until the bell rang that’s when we swap activities. So we were now on a activity where you were supposed to stand in a line but in our group colour lines, then one person goes to the other side and they would throw a water balloon at you and you have to catch it, after that we have to catch it cause if you do then you have to throw back to the person who's throwing the ballon so our teammate’s can catch the balloon, when everybody in your team catches it then the last person to catch the water balloon has to put it in our buckets then there would be a cup inside of it and you had to refill then run it down to your group bucket and refill it.
After that we played a different activity. In this one you were supposed to refill these small cups with water then run up the mountain and refill your bucket the more you run and spill the water in your cup the more points you lose. Next we played a different activity where your cup has a whole in it and you have to refill it with water then you have to run to your group bucket fast before the water spills. After that activity we were on our second to last activity and you were supposed to refill your cup then slide down the slide without spilling your cup of water. It was fun and also funny. A few people were glissading down the hill. Most people were laughing at an absurdity situation where most people slipped.
Next we were on our last activity and you were supposed to dip your sponge into the water then run up the mountain and squeeze the water into your bucket just like the other activities. After that we were announcing the places of the groups. So kowhai came 4th,Kauri came 3rd,Rata came 2nd and nikau came 1st. Everyone in Nikau was partisan to their teacher group chieftain for helping them win. Everyone enjoyed it because it included teamwork and courage, it was fun. Now when I wear the colour green it's like a memento of the water fun day and for my team. Everyone in the school had the audacity to represent the group colour proudly. I relish the teachers for what they set up.

Kiwi Can Reflection//Week 2 //Learning Though Fun
This week at kiwi can our topic was positive relation ships. So we first started our session at kiwi can by playing a warm up game. The warm up game was called Twenty one in the game we had to count in a circle up to twenty one, If the number twenty one lands on someone then their out if you also make mistakes like say three numbers your only allowed to say two numbers if you don't say two numbers your out. The girls won in that game.
After that we talked about how people play fairly. Is it good to play fairly or not?. We answered some of them by saying that cheating is not fair and all that. So when we play games we always need to play fairly not cheat.
Next we played a game called human bowling so we had to go outside so we started to split into two teams one boys one girls so basically you have to bowl the ball into someones legs. You have to hit the persons legs by Rowling the ball to hit the other teams legs and if you get hit your out. In this game the boys won.
Then we payed a little Q&A our teacher tells us questions and if we answer them correctly that's points for our team. So after that we played end of the rope in this game your suppose to answer the questions in a line. So in our game we had two lines each time some one stands up and the other person in the other line answers the question right then you have to sit down. Who ever's line reaches the end then your team loses so basically you lost. Well the girls won and we managed to put up a challenge.

Kiwi Can Reflection
Today at Kiwi Can we played a lot of games . So we first started by playing a game I forgot the name of the game but the rules were one person goes in the middle and the rest of the class in a circle facing the person in the middle with a cone in front of them then the person in the middle says what did they do for the holidays and if he says something that you did then you have to move the person with no cone in front of them has to say what they did in the holiday.
After that we started to sit on the mat and we started to learn about rules. So there were three words on the board Learn,Encourage and Share. So one person has to say a rule and then the whole class has to decide where it would go out of the three words and then if our teacher picks the word we choose then we would get a point.
Next we played a game called defender. In the game we had to open our legs wide and then you have to try and not get the ball between your legs. So if it goes though your legs your out and I came top two but time was running out so we had to play another game.
The Next game we played was GKQ and we had to get in two lines one boys one girls and starting from the front of the line we had to answer questions and if the girls answered before the boys then the next person from the boys will go up against the girls.

Summer Learning Journey//Day 5// Week 4//Dancing Queens
DAY 5: DANCING QUEENS
Activity 1: The World of Hip Hop [4 points]
Parris Goebel has taken over the world of dance! You might already have heard of her as she is pretty famous in New Zealand and around the world.
Parris was born in Manurewa, South Auckland, and she is of Samoan/Chinese/Scottish descent. Parris loved dancing when she was very little and she began hip-hop lessons when she was 10. By the age of 15 she was so good that she started her own all-girl dance crew called ReQuest, and they went on to win several first places at the World Hip-Hop Championships.
Parris later started The Palace Dance Studio in Auckland, and formed five more dance crews that won competitions worldwide. She has also worked as a choreographer for famous musicians like Justin Beiber, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Janet Jackson. In 2019, Parris and her new dance crew, The Royal Family, won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship.
For this activity, watch this video of their award winning performance. What do you like about the performance? What did the dance crew do well? What could they work on?
On your blog, write a review of The Royal Family performance. Please talk about the dance, dancers, costumes, and the music. What did you like? What didn’t you like as much? What do you think could have been improved?
So I liked everything there pink clothing matched the song and also how they dance the dancers are very good they can time everything on the correct time their choreography is amazing if I tried doing that I would probably end up injured there dance moves timing and everything must have cost a lot of practices. It's also a massive group of dancers that work hard together to perfect their dance moves. It would be a hard job to be a leader of a group that massive.
Activity 2: En Pointe [4 points]
Most successful ballerinas start learning ballet when they are very young - 3 or 4 years old. World famous ballerina, Misty Copeland, wasn’t like most other girls. Instead of starting at age 3, she started ballet lessons at age 13!
By 14, Misty had won a national competition for ballet dancers. She continued to work very hard and, in 2015, she became the first African Amercian principal (lead) dancer of the Amercian Ballet Theatre - this is amazing because there were, and still are, very few African American ballet dancers in the country. When interviewed, Misty has said that she would like people to be able to “see dreams through me”. This is an example of an inspirational quote. This means a lot to me cause I look up to my dreams but I lose hope sometimes and sometimes quotes like this makes me have hope to do something.
Activity 3: Concluding the Journey [6 points]
Sadly, the Summer Learning Journey has now come to an end. It is time to reflect on everything that you have learned this summer about people who have had an impact, or changed the world, in some way.
For this activity, please reflect on your experience with the Summer Learning Journey programme this year.
On your blog please tell us:
Which activity you enjoyed the most
Which activity you enjoyed the least
Three things that you learned while completing the programme
What changes/improvements you would make to the programme for next year
The Activity I enjoyed the most is Day 5,Week 3 and Activity 2. Because I got to talk about my favourite Video Game.
I enjoyed every single activity but the activity that was hardest was probably Week 1//Day 4 Activity 2 because it took a lot of effort.
I learned that Albert Einstein discovered the equation "E=mc2" and also Nelson Mandela slowed down the apartheid system. Lastly I learned about what a nanotechnologist is.
Next Year I hope there's more sport activity's but soccer because I like soccer. An also I would like to be more Science questions.
