A building Consents are a written approval from the council. It's an Approval to build on a specific site which the council has to apply to. The council would apply if he's or she's satisfied with the grounds and building.

2: If you build your house on top of plants and when you are finish building you will have to plant it again.

3: You will get approval to build your house

4: You need consent  for many things not just building a house.

5: The longer the council takes to build consent the more money they lose.

6: A building consent is written approval from them to carry out specific building work on a specific site which must comply with current  regulation.

7: In different cities there are specific days that the council will give you the paper if he applied or not.
